Nature is resting- outside it’s white and cold. Oh how I would love a little ray of sunshine, but it looks like the sun, too, does not want to disturb nature in its sleep. And it is this dosing nature that my newest scarf compliments. Soft baby blue with a triple frozen leaf border- perfect tranquility, total peace.

Haruni Shawl was knitted according to the design by Emily Ross.

For this shawl, I used Alize Angora Gold yarn: 80% – acrylic, 20% – wool. 100g=550m=601yds. Color -514.

The shawl was knitted on circular lace knitting needles – 4mm and 4,5mm.

Gamta ilsisi – lauke balta, šalta. Ach, kaip norėtųsi saulės spindulėlio, bet panašu, kad ir ji nenori trukdyti šios žiemos idilijos. Gamtos nuotaiką pilnai atitinka ir mano nauja “Charuni” skara. Švelniai žydro atspalvio su trigubu užšalusių lapų kraštu -lyg tobula ramybė.

Skara “Charuni” buvo numegzta pagal Emily Ross sukurtą raštą.

Yellow and grey. 

Many may not know this but these colors were announced as the official colors of 2021, the year following the pandemic. And it’s in that year that I bought this yarn. In fact, I bought 3 balls by accident but I was not at all upset, falling in love with the yarn instantly. From the very beginning, I knew that I would just have to use one ball to crochet a shawl according to the “Adele” pattern. And the second ball? What about the third one? You’ll have to wait and see.

But for now, I’d like to introduce to you the first of my 2 projects- the “Adele” shawl according to the design by MotaNina crochet.

To make the scarf, I used 1800m of triple thread yarn from the Kokonki brand. Color combination number A155: ciemny szary/średni szary/szarobeżowy/żółty/kurkuma

Crocheted with a 3mm crochet hook.

Geltona ir pilka.

Daugelis jau turbūt pamiršo, bet būtent šios dvi spalvos buvo paskelbtos oficialiomis 2021-ų metų postpandeminio laikotarpio spalvomis. Tada ir buvo nupirktas šis siūlų kamuoliukas, o tiksliau (per atsitiktinumą) net trys. Na bet, kai pastebėjau savo klaidą, visai nenusivyliau. Aš jau tada žinojau, kad iš vieno kamuoliuko tikrai nersiu skarą “Adelė”. Norit sužinoti, ką nunėriau iš antrojo kamuoliuko? O ką iš trečiojo? Kol kas teks palaukti…

O šiandien pristatau jūsų dėmėsiui skarą – “Adelė”pagal MotaNina crochet dizainą.

Skarai sunaudojau maždaug 1800 metrų trijų gijų Kokonek siūlo. Spalva – A155. Ir kaip visada nėriau 3mm vąšeliu.

2023 has finally arrived. Usually, the New Year brings new beginnings, new hopes. I wish you all for the upcoming year to be peaceful and for everyone’s dreams to come true. 

And to cast off the old year, here is my shawl – Rustle, according to the design by Svetlana Zakharova.

For this shawl, I used nearly 3 balls of Silk Mohair yarn: 72% – kid mohair, 28% – mulberry silk; 25g=210m.
Knitted on circular needles – 4mm.

Štai jau ir 2023-ieji. Nauji metai visada asocijuojasi su nauja pradžia ir naujomis viltimis. Linkiu, kad šie metai būtų taikūs ir išsipildytų mūsų visų svajonės.

Na o pats pirmas mano šių metų įrašas bus apie dar praėjusiais metais numegztą šalį “Šnarėjimas” pagal Svetlanos Zacharovos raštą.
